Roger Spendlove

I've graduated from film school and starting to freelance as a Shooter and DP. I'm looking to purchase my own light meter, and would like to hear your recommendations on which brand or model to buy (new or used). Also, are the Spot/Incident combo models just as accurate and worthwhile? Thanks for your advice! --Roger Spendlove

Thank you both very much for your answers and additional information. I'll go with an ASA 400 on my meters and compare results with my monitor. I may be able to squeeze in a camera test this week before we begin shooting next Saturday. If I discover anything interesting, I'll post our findings here. Thanks! Can any tell me what is the ASA/ISO exposure value of the Panasonic AGX-100 camera? Also, with the CineGamma mode turned on, what kind of latitude range (in f-stops) can this camera record? Thanks! Roger Spendlove
