Hi, im looking for an anamorphic c mount lens, i know panavision make them, its 600 a day to rent one in australia, are there any cheaper options and i've seen all the iso-vista-nasta-bla-bla conversions. ive been looking for a while and cant seem to find anything appropriate. any help would be muchly appreciated. i might be crazy though i actually want to use this on an 8mm, wrong forum i know though i figure this would be the place to ask as very few 8mm cameras actually take c mounts. thanks alot.. im finding alot of things like this on ebay, though no one seems to be able to tell me what they mount to. http://cgi.ebay.com/Films-Inc-Anamorphic-C...1QQcmdZViewItem

has anyone tried the century optics 16:9 adapter on a 1014 or 814, Im looing at this combination, though i dont know to much about the 1014 lens. specifically focussing, is it an internal barrel focussing or does the outside rotate, ie will i have to set the horizontal allignment (dont want skewed images) every time i adjust focus. there is always the option of building rails to hold the adapter horizontal, anyone experimented with this. thanks, this is my first post so be nice. im currently in malaysia and we're a bit short on 8mm cameras here. i want to buy a 8/1014 though im having trouble finding out theis particular piece of information on the web.
