hi, I am john, I have doubt I am shooting in 500t film stock, I always overexpose the film to 250/320 ASA to reduce the grain and process normally in ECN2 processing. I have read some of the topics in the forum about processing, my doubt I overexpose because to reduce the grains in the film, but why should I Push process, is there a reason. secondly when there is very low light, what is the ASA should I use. eg: filming a night street. thanks in advance

hello I am john, now working as a assistant cinematographer in india, chennai, I have a doubt in shutter angle, please help me. my first question, how do I get a sharp image with shutter angle, I use arri 435 es model camera and elite lens, what is the effective shutter angle for arri 435 es. please give me some notes about all the cameras and their shutter angles so that, I may be able to hire them from the company, and please tell me the frame rates of different format eg: motion film camera, dvs, etc; please help me, I am in desperate need of it, thank in advance john

thanks for the reply guys. But problem is that they dont tell me everything, which I want to know. when I asked for how to take reading with meter, they said it is not time for me to learn. I need to know how to take reading from meter, I have used meter for photography, but for cinematography they have a different way to work with. there is no shutter speed, how do they work out. sometimes they use iso setting and highslides for meter reading. can you guys explain me. ban
