  4. I go to Brooks Institute, yes the admissions reps are rather annoying, but the education is great, they really prepare you for the industry, we have tons of equiptment, and the people that actually end up graduating really know what there doing and go on to do some great things, I'd go have a visit of the campus, we have a couple sound stages, and the teachers are awesome, really know what there talking about, and they are coming from LA to teach, and when there not teaching they are working on movies.
  5. I thought it was an outstanding movie, most of the kong shots were amazing and looked so real, however there were a few as stated that were not so good. But all in all the Cinematography were good. I as well was confused to as why there were not many people in the theatre.

  9. Hello, I was wondering if anyone is or has attended or know anything about The Brooks Institute of Photography film program. What are your thoughts on it, was it a good program, where did you live? and just as much info about the program as you can give would be greatly appreciated, because I applied there and want to make the right decision. thanks a lot.
  10. www.fullsail.com I hear different thing about it, I hear mostly that its only good for audio and such. Not so good for the Cinematography aspect and such, I will be attending LA Film School which is owned by Full Sail, but much much better.

  12. Hey, I actually just visited the film school...it looked great, a great guy named tony gave me a tour, I saw students there working too. They are in the end process of getting credited, so you can apply for FAFSA, but for right now they have other loans. It looked great for cinematography and directing, production design all that. They were actually shooting a thesis project on one of there two huge sound stages, it was great too see, very proffessional and there were working professionals in hollywood just walking around the school it was kinda cool. the first couple weeks is boot camp you learn about all the equipment and right away start making short films. They are one of the first schools to get like 30 xl2's and they have some panasonic dvx100/a. They have film 16mm and 35mm, Panavision, they have everything you could need, you visit lighting companys for school trips, it looked great, I suggest going and checking it out. I am applying for sept. 2005.
  13. oh ok thanks a lot for all your help.
