  1. Has anyone used the P+S Technik mini 35mm with the GY HD 100U camcorder? I’m looking for feedback and any suggestions with regard of your experience and opinion. Thanks.
  2. Hi Tim, So Tim are you saying I can't shoot 24PA and edit it for a possible filmout on Avid Express Pro? You mentioned shooting in HDV-24P. Someone who owns the same JVC 100U camera suggested I shoot in 24PA and he has an older version of Avid Express. I'm a little confused. Ideally I would like to shoot in HD 24P or A and prepare it for possible filmout if a distributor wanted to make prints and or go directly to DVD and broadcast television. Thanks. Kim
  3. Hi Tim or whom ever can answer this question, I understand your answer for Dave, however I'm trying to figure out if I should use 24P or 24PA on my JVC-GY 100-U camera. I have the standard factory lens. I'm using Avid Express Pro, the latest since September 2006. I would like to shoot for a possible film out and for DVD & television exhibition. I need this ASAP. Thanks. Kim
  4. Hi David, I hooked my camera's output to a native 16:9 60" monitor plasma screen. No bars. The Sony monitor that I have must be native 4:3 with the 16:9 image inside it. I will have to read the manufactures instructions. Maybe there is a setting to make 16:9 image a native image within the 16:9 area. Thanks again David. Kim :)
  5. Hi david, I can switch 4:3 & 16:9. There is no menu in the monitor.
  6. Hi fellow experts... I recently purchased the Gy-HD100U. I have the camera in the HD mode, 24P, output 1080i. I'm puzzled that the black bars top and bottom are on the tape, viewfinder, LCD & the output to the field monitor. If the settings are in the HD mode then I should have a full screen 16:9 picture with out the bars. Any suggestions. Thanks.
