Indeed it does appear to be an American regulation. I have found the kit through eBay. Probably the UK and the EU are less sensitive about chemicals sent overseas. The shipping is really expensive though.

ORM-D items cannot be shipped to PO boxes. ORM-D items are non-returnable. No,I don't have a problem with Tetenal, au contraire! It is a straightforward. The problem is its availability! And Fuji is way too expensive for the amount I plan to process.

Frankly, I'm loosing hope to process my own colour reversal. Negative seems to be ok but it is said the Vision 3 stock is not very good accepting C-41 chemistry after remjet removal. So I'm not going through that door. Apug only has a bunch of articles and posts about the Tetenal kit. I think the reason for not shipping over here are air safety regulations. So I guess it will be the same from Europe and the States. Who knows? I really can't do much.

Based in Mexico City, it is impossible for me to get the E-6 Tetenal kit from dealers in the US and it is not sold over here. Is there any alternative formulae to process E-6?

How was the conversion? Did you do it yourself?

Thanks Rafael! I do own an M42 K-3 camera. So, let me get this straight. If I use the C-mount lenses, it will be like a macro lens? Why does the kit zoom lens work fine to infinity? Do you recommend to use only M42 mount lenses? Thanks again!

Hello, I measured the distance between the mount and the gate and approximately it has a 46 mm length. This means the flange distance is almost 5 cm so a C-mount 25 mm lens will render it into a slight telephoto? Do I need a 20mm instead to make it a true normal lens. Can someone explain? Am I right? Thanks!

Thanks! Apparentky it works on mine but I'll do some tests. The crank indeed stops after my wrist hurts but i t runs an average of 25-30 sec.

Hey! I recovered my K3 since I sold one several years ago. This one came in perfect conditions but I don't remember: when am I suppossed to stop cranking to get the 25-30 sec. average @24fps. And what battery is suppossed to substitute the original mercury one? Thanks!

I've been craking my head to find ways to build a processing tank for 100' loads of 16 mm film and some on-line resources are fine but in my Third World country there are several materials that are not found at all. Lomo tanks are not an option, racks are way too chemical consuming and the classic bucket renders results that are not satisfactory for me. Any thoughts?

The good thing is that The lack of resources in the Third World have made camera technicians to be very creative over here so I guess I won't find trouble converting a camera relatively easy. Is it still possible to get a good shaped Cameflex in the market? I see some kit on ebay popping every now and then but they are seldom seen. Also, is it possible to convert them to 2-perf?

I need to get about 20 Mini DV tapes from old projects onto an HDD. Since I no longer have a MiniDV device, a friend will help me into getting those tapes transfered. My question is how many GBs of storage space I'll need?
