Thanks Maybe ill buy an older 2c and rent another camera for my ramping and hi speed shots. I just want a good quality picture, and the freedom of owning my own camera. When you own you have more time to get the best shots. Thanks again for all ur help.

I can say that it is cheaper than any other new super 16mm camera. I think you can get a new a-minima body for about $17000.

thats one thing i hate about film making, left wing nuts. i liked the cinematography for the village. and over all think it was a vary good film.

You can find it on ebay sometimes. people come on there and put like 50 rolls of leftovers on in separate auctions. and you can usually get it cheap.

;) Maybe it's just me but looking at the super 16 gate it looks like what thay do is just modify the standard gate. on the k3 web site thay say you get a $45 credit for giving them ur old gate. it seems to me that its something you could try yourself. Has anyone here ever used an a-cam s16 camera? I found out about it searching on the internet one day and thay look kind of cool. Any info you have on a-cam or ikonoskop would be great. I love this place thanks!

I am looking to do some shooting with an arri 35-3 but i just cant bring myself to rent one. if anyone has any info on financing that would be great. something about own your own camera is vary appealing. I could use it in the future. its not just for one shoot. unfortunately i dont fave the funds.

Hay I am from Kansas and we don't dress like that. but I think the look of the film made it look like it was shot in the time it was set in as far as clothing. tho it was set in modern times. So in the end the look aided the story. but it was flat out funny.

You could always go for the old krasnogorsk-3 or k-3 thay are vary cheap. yot can get a new one on ebay for about $150.

HI, i am 16 years old and i LOVE everthing about film making. But i have no idea how to start doing what i love. I hope to some day become a director. But im from Kansas, and knasas is not a big movie state. I would also like to find some way to learn all the terms and all the basics of cinematography. Thanks for your help.
