  1. yeah, my conclusions have resulted in the "additional" head system on the 950, using the digiprimes. that links by cable to the main body. or s16 minicams. I'm thinking maybe even second hand bolex s. its a gritty car chase, with a car stolen by a 10 year old. this part of the film is designed to shock. The car does crash. there s no gloss hanging about this scene. If anyone has any experience using regular lipsticks on hidef decks? i understand some of them do shoot more lines than a digibeta deck records. the eventual decision rest with the Dop. He s just asked me to try and research some lateral options to this.
  2. shooting a race sequence on s35 for a feature. are there any hidef lipstick cameras that we can put onto hidef decks available to anyones knowledge. would they intercut with s35? bearing in mind this is a very fast action race sequence so got more scope for intercutting,
  3. i sincerely apologize for asking a very basic question. when operating my steadicam using an sr2, sometimes i cannot clearly see the ground glass (suspect there is none) ground glass. there are the "sr2" frame lines (large clear rectangle) if i see a lighting stand/flight case etc just outside the framelines do i need to call it as "in shot" . what if its on the edge of the entire view but whitin the ground glass in video land i would call anything that came on screen as "in shot" because u never know how messy they re gonna get later with the 16/9 17/14 messy refame etc later (was a bbc editor for 2years) but in this film malarky... is it gonna be masked in telecine? are these frame lines even accurate? i ve had conflicting answeres from dop s now...... so this forum is much better thanx again
  4. ive got one... it had a 3.5mm jack placed in the plastic battery plate.. ive wired up a cable so i can use my pd150 sony li-ion batteries on it.. works great!
  5. Kodaks Vision2 500T has been released then? wicked thomas
  6. shooting a short fight sequence- lots of speed ramps whats the highest frame rate do u reckon i can take kodaks 125 newsreal stock through that camera (light limitations already considered) what would be the best stock to use in this camera at 70fps? thanx
