  2. hi does anybody have any general advice on shooting on colour stock with intent to go b+w in post? film shot mostly at night, so probably gonna work with fuji 500D and 250D for day scenes. how does colour temperature of lights affect the final result in b+w? and does D or T film repond better to the b+w desaturation... shoot calls for mixed lighting (moon and kerosene lamps mostly), but i was wondering what moonlight would look like from a tungsten source... secondly, i really like the look of b+w with red filter (a la 'paper moon')... would it make sense to use a red filter on the camera or should i leave it for post? (have access to really good 'spirit' telecine facility). oh, and the film will be transferred to digi-beta (film school!) sorry if i'm being vague! in early pre-prod. but any advice would be greatly appreciated. thanks...
