  1. Hi, I follow a little bit your discussion and there is something i don't understand... I read that a steadicam operator work through a corporation : "he has a corporation that he pays himself thorough" So it means that he created is own company and work through his company. He employ himself? I was thinking to do the same, what can you advice me... Thanks.
  2. So, i asked Aaton France about 12v and 16v... This is what they say : 2 kinds of electronic are on the Aaton. The oldest one is in biphase. T his kind of electronic have only 24, 25, 29 and 30fps quartz. To rank over 40fps you need a 16v batterie. The new one are in 12v triphase, they don't need any different batterie to rank to 75fps. Also, the speed can be preset with 3 numbers after the coma (0,001fps). The 12v new model are quartz for all the speed. I hope, it's enough clear. Otherwise, let me know. Have a nice day
  3. So, i understand that 12v or 16v is about the way we would like to rank the speed of the camera. I mean, that in 12v the Aaton XTR plus can run from : 6 to 42fps and in 16V we can run up to 54fps. Is it correct or i missunderstand again ? I still don't know what is it about : biphase or triphase ...i'm sure it's about 12v or 16v. I guess, that triphase camera are on 16V and 12v camera are biphase !? Let mùe know if i'm right or not ?
  4. Hi, I'm brand new... I'm french and i speack only basic english  I looked at the Abel cine tech website and i don't understand one thing about the sale? What's the difference between an AAton XTR plus biphase or triphase ? Also, why some XTR are in 12V and some others in 16V ? Is it about the frequency (50htz/60htz)? Thank you by advance for helping me out. I hope my questions aren't too much stupid.
