  1. 1. No more than 100 yards. 2. Does a shotgun mic go threw glass? 3. I'm sure there will be a time when I need to spy in public areas to get my footage. 4. This will be on the move journalism, no time to set up anything. 5. I also need it to work well med-short range for short film future projects. 6. What would a celebrity reporter use to catch conversation in public areas. I would like to know as much info as possible before I buy. Thanks, this site and people are great.............. Jason, :D
  2. Hi, I just bought a digital camera and I want to start production on a video project. The mic on the camera just isn't cutting it. I need a mic to catch long distance conversation and noise (journalism from a distance). Sound quality just has to be understandable (not A movie quality)(vhs quality is fine). Of course money is a concern there is so many other things to buy.
