  1. Hi John, Thanks for the info on the Eyemo. I am really interested in the camera but not if it is a heavily modified one. I would still love to come across an Eyemo that has somehow retained its military history and has not been modified as a crash camera, etc. However I would like to see pictures of the camera if you have any to share or can send me. Never know. I was able to locate an Eyemo 71Q online that was a former U.S. military model and I think I got a good deal from it. Came with a 400' magazine, electric motor and a few lenses too. Many thanks for the reply and if you would like to share some pics of the camera I am interested....
  2. Thanks for the eBay tip - not familiar with this model (item#230084474065) but I can ask my friend about it. Looks like it was built for a special purpose, possibly gun mount or some other similar function? Sorry, not interested in the Russian film camera, strictly looking for a B&H Eyemo. The search continues!
  3. Hi - I am looking to buy a working 35mm Eyemo motion picture camera. Either single lens or turret versions. It is for an old WWII veteran combat cameraman from the Canadian Army Film Unit; http://www.canadianfilm.com/cafu/norman_quick.htm Thank you. Dale Gervais webmaster@canadianfilm.com
  4. Hi, I am a Film Conservator with the Library & Archives of Canada, part-time researcher, writer, and webmaster. I am doing research regarding the Canadian Army Film Unit (CAFU) during WWII; http://www.canadianfilm.com/cafu/cafu_welcome.htm I have had the good fortune to have met several of the last surviving members of the Canadian Film Unit and part of my research has revolved around the 35mm Eyemo cameras that the Unit used during the war. I have been scouring the net looking for Eyemo's for sale and would love to match up one of these cameras with one of my CAFU buddies. I have recently submitted an article for the January issue of Canadian Society of Cinematographers that outlines my research and briefly describes the use of the Bell & Howell Eyemo during the war. Should anyone have any information about the cameras, for sale, or otherwise I would love to hear from you. Also, I have created a line of t-shirts commemorating the Film Unit and they can be viewed here; http://www.canadianfilm.com/cafu/order_cafu_tee.htm Thanks Dale webmaster@canadianfilm.com
