Bare with me, as it is my first time posting on cml. On my own I have been trying
to read materials(amer. cinematographer mag., set lighting tech. handbook, etc), and with work equipment that set electrians use. Basically to become a set elec.
Due to my schedule at my current job(eq. rm. photo rental studio) it makes it a
little complicated, and sometimes awkward. I work m-f, luckily nights.
In the time I have worked there I have learned about, and done my own load
distribution system, slight rigging, and setting up lights.
What would I be able to do to get more training without interfering with my job?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
