I was wondering what the best device would be for doing on location recording of sound fx and voice. I want something highly portable that will not require the use of a laptop and an audio interface such as an mbox. I want to be able to hook up XLR based microphones to the device if possible and I'm not sure if they also provide phantom power. I'm obviously new to the sound side of things so any tips would be great. Thanks.
