  1. I did a search and nothing really came up. Can anyone recommended a transfer house that does file to tape services? I need several films put to DVCam tapes from various quicktime formats for festivals and I am deckless. Like anyone I'm not looking to spend a great deal but I do want quality. I've e-mailed several houses but with no result and was just wondering if anyone knew. Thank you.
  2. Yet another question about the 'ol Konvas 1m. Is it possible to mount a newer jointed ocular on a Konvas that originally came with the straight ocular. With the straight ocular and the 400' mag on I can't seat my eye on the ocular correctly. Maybe its just my fat head. Can you swap out the oculars? 3. That's kinda what I thought too but I wasn't sure. I just saw the post and my heart soared because I have plenty of C-mount lenses lying around, which would have prevented me from buying any other lenses. I thought it might work somehow. But I guess you can't wish something true.
  4. I was searching through the posts trying, almost in vain, to find a distributor that carries primes for the 1M, when I came across a post where a guest mentioned having a c-mount adapter for his 1M. http://www.cinematography.com/forum2004/in...&hl=c-mount "I have the 1M with new lenses mounted on it. I got an adapter to allow me to put any C-mount lenses on the camera, then I bought some new Arsat 35mm lenses and stuck them on the 1M." So my questions are: Has anyone else used a c-mount adapter for their Konvas? Does anybody know where can I get one? How well do c-mount lenses cover the 35mm format?
  5. here's another place that sells them. http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller...&sku=116732 This forum mentions a lens adapter that doesn't require the Manual Diaphragm Adapter. http://www.cinematography.com/forum2004/lo...php?t13323.html
  6. The only one I can find is made by Adorama and you see them every now and again on ebay http://www.adorama.com/VDCMCA.html Thanks for the heads up on the Manual Diaphragm Adapter. Not knowing to use that would have caused some major obvious problems.
  7. I did a search and it was pretty sparse but I wanted to know if anyone was shooting through a canon fd mount lens adapted to the c mount bolex. I am wondering if I shouldn't buy an adaptor for my bolex since I have a wide array of fd mount lenses from my canon. I want to know what results the canon has yeilded for anyone using them on a bolex or any other 16mm for that matter. And kind of a side question, is there any light loss with the lens and do the f-stops read true from the 35mm lens to the 16mm format? I would be happy to hear from anyone on this. Thanks
