Hello Adam, your follow focus looks great. I like the idea of reduced inner diameter and weight reduction of the ring attatched to the lens. What about the sence of rotation? focusing for more distant object, you go forward with the FF ring? Thank for replay Jiri

Hello, very curious to see your custom FF. I use a long Nikkor lenses (4/500 and 4/600) for wildlife shootig on my Bolex EL S16 and Aaton XTR for many years, still having problems with different sense of rotation of Nikkor lenses compared to other cine and SD lenses I am working much more often.. so currently I have come to decision to build a simple FF which could enable to go forward for infinity and backward for close.

It is worth while to purchase Sony HD 730 camera which has been used very little and the price dropped about one third, or to search for 750? Until now, I have shot documentaries and wildlife on Super 16 and lower budgets on DVCAM. I would appreciate to hear from someone who has axperience with both cameras, since in Czech Republic the HD cameras (750 only) are used mostly for film production. My collegues in Austria shoot most of their footage in 25P with 750, using 50i only for aerial shots, combining 25P and 50i together in the edited material. Would the footage from 730 be accepted on international market or it is better to shoot on 25P?
