  1. Hello to all, I need to shoot an LED TV, the content will be added in post production so it needs to be a clean Green for keying, however I did some tests and the Moire Patterns that appear are unbearable. Im shooting on the Red Dragon so it is not a compression issue. Any recommendations on how to deal with the problem? The patterns disappear the second it's slightly soft, but I rather keeping the television in focus. Thanks! J.
  2. Leaving to Magdalene Islands, no cell phone coverage for 10 days... Good bye world!

  3. Ok, so everyone can have their own interpretation of what they could mean, as long as the filmmakers working together are in synch on their definitions. Very well. Thanks
  4. i was reading the CML conversation about darkness And David Mullen mentions: "Because some directors confuse "dark", "dim", and "shadowy" as all one thing, it's best to find some examples that you both can study and agree on." It made me wonder what are the differences? Do we have standards for what is dark vs dim vs Shadowy?
  5. Hello, I was wondering how was the exposure on the sky in the opening sequence of "The Social Network" made? Zuckerburg The American Cinematographer says: "The Social Network’s first shot, a night exterior that plays during the opening titles, was perhaps the most complicated piece of the movie to capture. The sequence depicts Zuckerberg racing through Harvard Square and the university gates. Capturing the sweeping panoramic night exterior required all three Red Ones; images from the cameras were later tiled together into a single image to create an establishing view of Harvard Square, with the university in the background." Does that mean HDR? multiple exposures? or was it added in post? Are the camera's today so sensitive that we can expose the sky at night? Cheers
