I am attempting to project an aerial image on a quickcam CCD. camera. I have a problem in that the quickcam lens has a pretty wide angle so I need to find an intermediate lens that will narrow down the field of view.
What kind of lens would this be? Just one large convex lens? Two lenses that form a condenser?
How can I estimate what size and specs I will need?
If anyone could recommend a useful web page on lens theory, I'd be appreciative.
And does anyone know of somewhere that might sell cheap surplus lenses. (This is a home hobby project so I don't want to spend much on it.) I live in Los Angeles so somewhere local where I could talk to someone would be the most useful.
