  1. Hello all I am mid way through a 50min televsion drama shooting on twin SDX900s in the UK and we are experiencing strange colour space behaviour from both our cameras. Im shooting relatively un tweaked scene files working with the factory preset Filmlike2 setting which is generally the look we are going for with a full grade to come later. Where we are expeariencing problems is when shooting at low light levels certain pieces of actor wardrobe are really singing out on the monitor to the point where they are over exposing and solarising on both cameras, as if we are shooting in some sort of super saturated mode. For example we had an actor in a red boiler suit against a fairly dark back ground and we were getting very ragged edge detail on his boiler suit and even though on my spot meter his reflected value was only 2.5 stops above the background the suit really wanted to solarise on the monitor. I would expect the camera in that scene file to have more latitude than this? I have adjusted bits of the menu to attempt to counteract this problem but with little difference. ive shot with the camera before and done bluscreen work with it also and not encountered this problem. The fact that both cameras are behaving the same way even after a hard reset leads has left me at a bit of a loss. Does anyone have any ideas/remedies Many thanks BEN
