    burnt out fuse?

Thanks, but i think it may have to do with the fact that i was running the motor at a fast speed in cold wether. That's just an newbie assumption though. Otherwise, I found the right size of fuse in the store, but i need to know which one to get, is it's amperage supposed to match that of my battery (12 amp hours i think)? I can't read what it says on the old burnt out one.

    burnt out fuse?

So i posted earlier regarding my eclair that suddenly stoped getting power while shooting, and i now know it wasn't the battery. I think it might be a burnt fuse, because i was running at 50fps. I took out this piece (that isn't mentioned in the manual), and it looks like a fuse that burnt cause the two wire-like things aren't connecting anymore, plus, there's a weird brown colour to it. Is that possible, and if so, can i somhow replace it?

    ECLAIR PROBLEM

Hi, i was shooting with an eclair acl at about (give-or take) -5 degrees celcius, at 50fps, and the wholw thing suddenly stopped, was it the temperature, or perhaps lubes in the motor? Now the machine won't even turn on at all. -L. McC.

    film loading

Ok, sorry to bother y'all with a stupid question. When i attach the film on the take-up side the eclair acl, onto the empty 100' daylight loading spool, do i just slip in the end of the film into the little notch in the spool, or do i make a little bend in the film for it to stay better... - L. eclair acl

Not that I'm planning to do so, but how much could i sell an eclair acl for (its in great condition with angenieux zoom and new battery pack). How much demand is there for these, and where is the best place to sell them? -L. McCutcheon

    eclair loading question

Sorry, I'm still a bit confused. Is this black bag used to cover exposed film that was received onto a core? If so, basically, the film is received on the core, and in complete darkness (as when i loaded the film), i simply take it off and put it in the bag? -Luke McCutcheon
  7. When loading a 100' spool on an eclair acl, what receives the film on the take-up side? Does it need to be an empty spool, or a 50mm core? Can one purchase these?
  8. I'm not used to measuring light with a incident/reflective meter that's not TTL like in most manual 35mm still cameras. My question is when I get a reading on the meter, and I ajust my exposure accordingly, does the focal length of my Angenieux lens (for eclair acl) have an affect on how much light is reaching the film? If so, what's the genral rule for compensating.
