Where can i find information about how can i get the dynamic range from a particular camera like HVX200 or what test should i do to get it. I bought a Sekonic L-758Cine and i don´t know how to get the clipping points (-,+)and dynamic range(-,+) values (EV), to have the sensibilty of a camera. I like to know this not only to program the Light meter but to know how it´s done. I should know this, but...

Maybe you got to much blue in your grey card, and the unsupervised transfer operator do his job set the grey card and cut all the blue out. I think that could be the problem.

We are going to shoot a feature with a very low budget, and i´m going to use a HVX 200, with a Brevis adapter and Lomo anamorphic, but we don´t know what´s going to happen. Because the director wants the film 2.35.

I really love the work of conrad Hall on "Fat City". Another cinematographer i really like is Russell Metty on "Touch Of Evil" great work... and Philip Lathrop ("Experiment In Terror"). Owen Roizman on "The French Connection" beautifull shots.
