Hello, I want to make a documentary in India. Still in the early stages. I plan on using s16mm shooting for about 3 weeks. I will be shooting in some adverse weather conditions (mountains, desert, dusty, cold...). Much of the footage will be interviews. I am hoping that I will be able to make it feature length (60-90 min). So my question is this-apart from travel costs what sort of budget do I need in order to pull this off. I will have to rent my equipment because I have nothing right now. I have no formal training but I am very quick to learn technical stuff. I am hoping to get a second hand camera to get familiar with the format. Your views would be much appreciated.
