Just an FYI - the gear lag in the Redrock microFollowFocus is gone now; for early adopters (like myself) there is a kit that'll fix it for you.

We use a Dell 3007WFP; it'll pump out 2K res if your card will drive it... 'Course I doubt that this'll work with your laptop, but if you're serious about cutting in-house, you may want to look at more powerful options in either the PC or Mac lines.
