  3. It's kind of funny that the beginning of this reality-TV movement started IMHO with a writer's strike.

I'd like to see an America's Greatest Screenwriter contest. ;)

On the ICG website they have new info on the "coming strike" The studio's are stocking up on shows. One studio just ordered 30 more episodes of Heroes.

  4. It's good reading. I don't get it that often because fo the price, but I pick one up when an article catches my eye.

yeh, I was thinking the same thing, Dose it cover pretty much the same things as AC ot ICG?

  5. You have to loop the region you want to render before rendering it. by left clicking holding it down and dragging the loop cursor along which will show up as blue. Then you can render making sure the render loop region is checked.

Actualy you don't, you can if you want, but if you render audio seprate from video you better be right on or you'll have sync issues, Vegas 7 snaps on the time line you its ok to do in vers 7. but not previous versions.

  6. Did any one see the first episode of tv guide channels "americas next producer"? I find it funny how a low budget tv channel dose a better job then fox. On this show the contestents had to make a 1 min skit for last call with Carsen Daily. It showed the conflicts, fighting yelling. All in all its much better then on the lot. i'm actualy look forward to seeing it next week.

  7. Bear with me if this is a rudimentary question, as I'm new to Vegas 7. When I render relatively brief video footage in Vegas 7 (e.g., about a 25 minute VEG file), instead of rendering it as a single AVI file, it renders it into two files. For example, a 26 minute (approx) VEG file I recently rendered was broken into 2 separate files -- one about 18 minutes and the second about 8 minutes. I'd prefer to have it rendered as a single file. I've tried changing various settings, but no luck. Any suggestions on how I get the software to render to a single AVI file? Thanks.

I've never had that happen and I've used vegas since version 5 came out. Reset to default and try again, you must have changed a setting some where.

  8. I know this is kind of a simple question, but it needs asking. I am curious as to how most of you go about labeling DVDs for demo reels and the like. I have always used a sharpie, but I have been wondering if that is a very professional way to go about it, especially considering my not-so-perfect handwriting. So, what do you do? Sharpie, printable discs, Lightscribe? And, what is generally expected?

    Thanks,

    Colton Davie

I use Ink jet printables, Personaly I would never use a sharpie.
