has anyone tested the jvc GY HD110U to find out what the asa is? I've heard some video camera differ from camera to camera? any one have a general ( or absolute ) idea of the asa on that camera? thanks

fcp 5.1.4 should work, thats what I use. just go to File import Panasonic P2 this maybe where you are going wrong: dont just import the mxf files Import the whole contents folder with everything in it, including mxf files, video, clips, audio, icons and so, just import the whole contents file thats how I do it.

this is more of a redrock adapter question than a HVX 200 question... I used the hvx with the redrock adapter recently... since the redrock flips the image upside down what is the best way to flip the image right side up? Is rotating the image in final cut pro the best way to compensate for the upside down image? thanks.

I am going to shoot a music video with the hvx 200 and redrock adapter with 35mm lenses. I heard it takes awhile to switch lenses on that camera, since the adapter goes on the end of the camera's lens. something to do with having to always adjust the backfocus? I like to constantly change lenses while shooting and am worried this whole system might bog the shoot down. how long should a competent AC be ablet to change lenses on that system? thanks

I saw a music video for rihanna, the new umbrella one. in one of the first set ups there is a really cool effect where the camera looks like it is going in and out of focus, but really roughly and shaky, almost like the films is running unsmoothly thru the gate. I've seen it in other things as well... Its also in the end of danny boyles new movie Sunshine... does anyone know how to do this or what special equipment might be needed? thanks a bunch odin
