  1. I Totally Agree. Having owned "other" heads almost as expensive and having been let down numerous times, especially in extremely conditions, O'Connor is by far the best. I have a collection now. A 50 that I have been using for at least 12 years... and still do. A 100 that I use with my old Arri III package. Now I have a 2575B and the 1030HD that are even more amazing. They never let me down! Pay the money. Start with the best and save yourself the headaches!
  2. Mistake Made - It has been brought to my attention very recently, that my head is in fact a Model 50 - NOT a model 50D
  3. Yes... Still have them. Been away for a bit but will be around the homestead for at least another week.
  4. I have an O'Connor 50 in decent working shape with a set of collapsible Fiba Legs (similar to the O'Connor legs) but I am in Vancouver. Still interested? 604-726-5646

  6. Hi Tim, I'm new to the site, so sorry for taking so long to get back to you. I was not sure how to access this forum. I have all the original parts for the head and no, it does not leak. I had my CP16 R/s, my old SRII as well as more recently my Varicam on it and it functions as a great backup head to my 2575B or a lite weight option for more remote location needs. The Mitchell mount is an industry standard in so much that it locks to most dolly, crane and jib mounts. It will function much better than a bowl head, especially with a heavier load. Further, when performing deep tilts or quick/snap pans, the head will NOT shift. Let me know if you are still interested and I can send some photos to your email address. Best, John
