Cool short! I like the weirdness of it. My only criticism is the encounter with the creature. The editing was confusing in this part. But the beginning and end was well done.

Yes, old converted Mirchells and Arri lls are old and hard to find. But there are a few modern (and middle aged!) 2 perf cameras about. I hear that Panavision now has 2 perf movements available. There are a few converted Arri BL4s. Aaton will shortly release the 2 and 3 perf Penelope (or is it already out?). And there are the Russian Kinor 35mm cameras that have been converted to 2 perf. I have one for rent, and there are a few others scattered across the US. There is plenty of post support for the format now as well.

I agree with you almost totally. And I also wonder if this new Michael Mann is going to be as good as the Dillinger from John Milius. Especially in 30 years from now.

I sell my Aaton LTR7 S16 camera. I purchase it some moths ago as a second camera for a project.

 

The camera runs quiet and all works properly.

 

It was converted to S16. The ground glass is marked to regular 16 but you can see alot of frame around it, so no problem. the camera as a LTR7 has 24/25 fps sync and 6,12,16,18,20,28,32 and 54, yes it runs at 54 fps like aatons LTR54.

 

The kit includes:

 

- Aaton LTR7 S16 body

- Wooden handgrip

- Aaton 400 ft. mag
