Hi, just looking to get a few unbiased thoughts on tripods.. Specifically the Libec TH950.. Being one of those people on limited funds I have to go within my price range and this is about it.. Of course every thing you read from the dealers say that it's fantastic but then generally they're not the ones using them.. I'm using an XL2 so the counterbalance head looks like a good feature as the camera is fairly front heavy but is it actually something that works well in practice.. I see they list it as fixed drag, what is the drag like? Just any thoughts you have would be really helpful..

Hi, first post.. In the next few days I'm off to Bonneville to do some shooting and I'll be taking my XL2.. I've got a one shot at this considering I'm travelling half way around the world to get there.. I'm wondering if any of you have shot there before, I'm a little concerned with the amount of light I'll be dealing with from the reflected white salt.. It's a situation that I haven't had to deal with before and as the footage needs to be of good standard I was hoping that some of you may give me some pointers that pertain to the type of filming I'll be doing...
