  1. Decided to go ahead and ship the OConnor/Legs $700 + Shipping for the OConnor Setup $240 + Shipping for the Spectra Cine IV-A Or pick-up in Los Angeles. Thanks
  2. Selling my OConnor Model 50 Head with Bogen 3192 legs & spreader. This unit is in good condition and comes with the quick release camera plate and a new arm adapter from Visual Products that allows Bogen arms to be used on the OConnor (Much cheaper and better). There is on small spot that I am noticing fluid on, I dont know whether it is a small leak or just a natural occurence. $750, Local sale in Los Angeles only. Also, I have a Spectra Cine IV-A Meter in good condition with original box, manual, domes, and pouch. There is a very small blemish on the round dome, but everything functions perfectly. Used recently on a 16mm test shoot and footage came back good. $275 + Shipping. I'm in Sherman Oaks, CA and would prefer a local sale, but you can contact me for shipping costs on the Spectra Meter. Pictures to come this evening. Thanks r_dembowski@yahoo.com

  5. Alright here's the deal. I bought this Eclair 6 weeks ago to do a project. I had the camera overhauled by George at Optical Electro House in Culver City and brought it home to run a test roll through it. Of course Murphy's law takes affect and the latch on my O'Connor 50 lets loose and the camera takes a dump (yes, I was in agony). The inside casing by the shutter now has a crack in it and the shutter rubs against it while filming. I ran the test anyway and the footage came back great, but the camera now runs with a very irritating noise (killing all sync capabilities). I'm sure this problem can be fixed, but I no longer have the time or resources to have it fixed and the project decided to go HD. So here it is at an attractive price. Eclair NPR R16mm Serial#750. In good condition except noted problem and just recently overhauled. 1x Tobin TXM-14 Light Duty Motor. Perfect working order with multiple crystal speeds. 2x 400ft Magazines. Both in good condition with hubs and recently over hauled. 1x Kinoptik Viewfinder. In good condition. 1x Angenieux 12-120mm Zoom Lens. In decent condition with great glass. 1x Cameflex to Arri B Adaptor. Brand New. 1x Pelican 1610 Case. Brand new, just purchased 1 week ago. All caps are in place. Pictures can be viewed at: http://s87.photobucket.com/albums/k132/spsnoise/Eclair/ I'm selling the package for $1500 ($1400 without the case) to reflect the problem. This would really be a great deal for parts or non-sync shooting. It is being sold as-is and I am not sure what the cost would be to fix the crack. I am in the process of getting the test footage up on youtube so anyone interested can email me and I'll give you a link. I would prefer a pickup in Los Angeles, but will consider shipping the unit. Any questions please email or call. Thanks, Ron r_dembowski@yahoo.com 818-574-8990
  6. Anyone have a 50 or 50D head with sticks you want to sell in LA? I'm open to other makes/models as well, just in need of a good head for an Eclair NPR and legs to hold it. Somewhere in the $400-$800 price range. Thanks r_dembowski@yahoo.com 818-574-8990
  7. See I've heard different opinions about the dvx in low light. Some like it, others don't. In all honesty, what would be the minimum kit I would have to get ahold of to make night scenes look good? Thanks
  8. Sorry for another newbie question, but I've been searching all week and can't find any great straight forward answers to low budget lighting at night. Here is what we have: 2x Mole 2k's 2x Arri 650 Fresnels 2x Arri 300 Fresnels We are shooting on a DVX100B w/Letus35 FE. It is all exteriors; simulated moonlight with very few "sources" (ie. woods, fields, low lit city, etc). Now we don't want this looking low budget so really my questions is can we get by with what we have now or do we have to rent/buy additional lights? Are HMI's necessary? We'll be buying two of the Honda EU3000 generators to power the kit we have, any objections to that? Thanks in advance.
