I just purchased the AG-DVC 30. I have not used it much yet but here is what I can tell you so far: Pros: Solid body, quick auto focus, 3 user buttons that can be customized to various functions according to your preference, nice zoom which can be smoothly zoomed slow or fast, digital zoom actually useful to 20x (little picture degradation), optical image stablizer. Cons: Only one focus/zoom/iris ring, AC power input plug under battery so cannot use both battery and AC, camera mics on camera need optional stereo mic or XLR mic and adapter for best sound recording You probably can't go wrong with any of the 3 camcorders you are looking at, it is just a matter of what you want to spend.
