well actually i didnt mention that i did everything which they told on the manual.But i must be missing something.I know i can only do it in the 720p mode.SO i tried in all 720 modes to do it.I changed the settings from the camcorder from video cam to film cam and below that i can change the frame rate and i did it 50frames.But when i start recording and play it afterwards i see its still 25fps.(the harddisk automatically goes to dvcproHD mode btw)so thats the problem i have :S

Hi everyone.I have a problem with filming 50fps on hvx200.I bought a new DTE Fs100 to record HD media but i couldnt figure out how to film in 50frame mode i tried everything.If anyone has done it before , could someone please tell me step by step how to do it.Im going crazy trying to figure it out how to do it so please someone help this dumb avid operator who is trying to film lol :D

Hi first of all my computer is a p4 3GHZ H.T(the highest cache versin) 1GHZ-DDR RAM 120GB Serial Ata harddrive and one the best asus mainboard card(plus i have a pinnacle studio deluxe editing card) i use adobe premiere pro for editing and for christmas i am planing to buy the fx1 from uk but i want to know if there would be any problems for editing it on my OC i mean i heard that i need a plug in for HD editing is that free for premiere ? pls helpp helpp F1 help lol :)

I have seen more sample vids from the fx1 but there is a common problem which i see in every vid. First of all in watching Kerr's sample vids and even with the cineframe mods of and cinegamma the picture is jerky alot . İ want to know if thats from the camera or is it from the codecs that they edited or exported the video ? pls could someone tell me why this is happening because i want to buy this cam if its really good . For a student it looks execellent but if its soo jerky i wouldnt want to buy it meanwhile my pc is P4 3.GHZ 1GHZ DDR-RAM 120 Serial Ata harddrive and one the best Asus Mainboard card. would this pc be good enough to edit HD videos??

Hi everyone. Did anyone try the 24p mode on XL2 is good ; because the cineframe24 mode on hdr-fx1 is really bad.

Hi again. İ only want to buy the fx1 to make short film for school projects and stuff.However i just downloaded a simple slow pan sample video which has been recorded in CineFrame 24 mode but all of the video was jerky even in that slow pan. İ would definitely not buy it if its keep doing that jerky stuff. Does anyone knows if its a general problem which the source is the camera or is it because the codecs ? could someone help me again pls

i am keep downloading the sample vids for the fx1 but i dont understand whats the .m2t file extension cuz i cant view them.i can just see one frame of the vid then windows media player closes down.

the sample vids you sent for the cineframe effects (the 213 mb's one) is that from the fx1 or z1

Sorry to ask a very stupid question but i really want to know; the sample vids of cineframe effects has that shot been recorded by the Z1 or the FX1 id really like to know

Well mostly i want a camera to shoot in indoor locations and rarely for outdoor locations for short films, as i understand from what you said the hdr-fx1 will be fine for this kind of sitiuations or wouldnt it? #####by the way thanks for your reply , because there isn't anyone who can help me here in Turkey about HD video.#########

Well as a student i want to buy a 3ccd cam and i want something good the first hand but i noticed that Canon XL2 has a longer distance lens than the hdr-fx1 will that effects my movie alot ; i mean do you think 12x is too short ? could you please help me again :)
