  1. This is a PIX 240 unit with 4 PIX caddies and 4 240GB SSD Drives. It has the standard plexi screen protector which I put on day one so the LCD is flawless. The unit is in perfect physical condition. I used it mounted to the a 17"monitor so It never bounced around and got beat up on a handheld camera. It has the magnetic lens hood that comes standard as well as a P-tap power cable and the regular AC power unit. It's an amazing piece of gear. Only selling because I am upgrading from an F3. Has the latest firmware Aurora 3.01 installed.

Asking $3200, but I will entertain all reasonable offers.

Please email, as I don't check my PMs.

    Thanks for looking.

  2. I have two Easy Rig Cinema 3 600Ns for sale. Used briefly on a six week TV show. Very much in 'like new' condition. Cost 3525 at B&H. Will entertain all reasonable offers. I'm sure most are familiar with the easy rig, but if not here is the link to the same models I am selling.

  3. Hello, wondering if this is still for sale.

    Thanks for your time.

Brand new O'connor 2060HD head and Ronford Baker legs asking only 9,000USD

Also inclused is a Tuffpak heavy duty case and a heavy duty trunk for the head.

Legs have never been used and the head has only ever used on a one day shoot for about 6 hours so they are brand new. And included with the head is an adapter so the head works with mitchell and ball.

Costs more than 13,000 at stores, I am asking only 9,000

I took these photos in a somewhat dusty, poorly lit room where they have been stored for months, but other than some dust on the outside of the boxes, everything is in brand new condition

I will provide better photos or any other verification required for serious buyers before finalizing sale.

  4. Hello,

I'm wondering if anyone else who owns an O'Connor O Box matte box has had troubles with the eyebrow (top flag) becoming stuck. The first time it became stuck it literally broke off in an assistant's hand as he gingerly tried to adjust it. I had it repaired and since then I have tried everything I can think of to make it move more easily. I have taken it apart several times and lubricated the hinge pieces with silicone. When that didn't work I tried graphite. Nothing has worked. Once again it broke off as it was being adjusted. I'm wondering if this is a common thing that others are experiencing. I've never had a problem with anything O'Connor so I'm wondering if I just got a lemon.

    Thanks.

    Scott

  5. Hello,

I'm selling a Canon Mark ii 5D. It's in good shape. Cosmetically it shows typical wear from being handled. Performance wise it's still in first class condition. Looking for $1650. If you're interested, please let me know. Open to reasonable offers.

    Thanks for looking.

  6. Hello,

I have a Kessler 3 foot CineSlider for sale. I had been using it for documentary and run and gun guerilla type shoots. I've enjoyed it, but frankly I just don't use it anymore. I'm not doing as much run and gun stuff anymore and usually I rent a longer slider if I need one.

You can mount it on any hard surface like apple boxes. You can also mount it to a tripod or to two light stands.

It comes with a few accessories. These allowed me to mount the slider to a 75mm bowl tripod and mount a small Sachtler FSB6 Head on the slider carriage.

    The included accessories are:

Kessler Flat Mount Adaptor- to mount a small head on the slider's carriage.

Kessler Ball Mount- to mount the slider to a small set of sticks with a 75mm bowl.

    Hard Travel Case.

I have a few other bits and bobs that I will include as well. Nothing major, but little things like adhesive measuring tape so that you can mark beginning and endpoints if you need to for some reason.

Links to the items are below. If you need more information, please check out www.kesslercrane.com. They have all sorts of information and videos showing the products at work.

    The Slider: http://www.kesslercrane.com/product-p/100154.htm

    The Flat Mount Adaptor: http://www.kesslercrane.com/product-p/flat_mount_adapter.htm

    The Ball Mount: http://www.kesslercrane.com/product-p/100126.htm

    The Hard Travel Case: http://www.kesslercrane.com/product-p/100163.htm

All total the included stuff cost $1600 and some change.

I'm asking $1000, but am open to any reasonable offers.

    Thank you for looking.

  7. Yes, thank you Stephen. You were a big help in selling the camera. Perhaps you should run off to the forum now and prevent someone from buying a Sony F3 because it doesn't come with lenses and therefore needs other items to be ready to shoot.

My favorite part is that you tried to convince those looking not to buy the camera because YOU THINK that the wait for the Scarlet is short. Is is NOT the moderator's job to go through posts in the marketplace and attach their opinions.

It obviously never occurred to you that I would seek out a competent buyer who understood what they were getting into. As a matter of fact, the buyer is a high-end VFX house who already own a number of EPICs but wanted a Scarlet with the Titanium Canon mount as well. They were willing to pay more to get it faster and that is what was important to them.

You are a smug, bully. You are a moderator for the site, but you don't even understand what the word means. A moderator is neutral by definition. Blasting into my post, and trying to convince people not to buy the camera I'm selling based on your opinions is anything but neutral.

You use your moderator standing as a bully pulpit to be rude. If these are the 'higher standards' you are seeking to maintain then godspeed to you.

From your tone it's obvious that there is no one empowered to check your behavior so please continue posting to this thread so that you can have the joy of getting in the last word. I see now, that you are that type of person. I will continue to block your PMs so that you can have the exhilaration of publicly showing everyone how much smarter and better than me you are.

BTW I had always enjoyed your posts. You are a talented DP and I have learned many things from you, unfortunately your social graces aren't quite up to par with your professional skills.

  8. Hi Scott,

I am concerned that the 7th post you ever made here was misleading, thats all, other places have lower standards.

I'm glad that cinematography.com has higher standards. I'm just surprised that a sustaining member would be so rude without bothering to find out any details. Announcing that you are sorry for being rude really isn't any salve for the person you are being rude to. Essentially, you've called me a liar- without knowing anything about my post or the way I was going to conduct the transaction. Furthermore, your pointing out that the camera is not ready to shoot without other accessories is beyond ridiculous. Do you comb the forums for people selling cameras without batteries, media or lenses and flag the posts as misleading because the camera isn't ready to shoot all by itself? In the future, perhaps a personal message is a better way for a sustaining member to ferret out what they consider to be misleading posts.

I hate to be VERY VERY rude, I do not believe you are just breaking even your making a profit. You are quoting todays prices, you ordered last year at lower Price.

The buyer should be aware that the waranty is NOT transferable, a fee is payable for camera evaluation & a 3 month waranty will be given.

Epics are in stock for immediate shipping, I suspect the wait for Scarlet is very short.

BTW you don't seem to have a way to operate the camera, the buyer would need to buy either a sidehandle, redmote or touch screen plus media if he actually wants to use the camera.

    Hi Stephen,

I've already found a buyer and since you are so concerned about the pricing I thought I would inform you that I'm am covering the shipping and the transfer fee and inspection fee so by the time all is said and done I really am just about breaking even. Obviously, anyone who is buying the camera understands that they will need other items to use it. Overall, I'm perplexed at your need to chime in on what is patently obvious to anyone in the market for a RED. However, I'm sure there is someone out there who appreciates your two cents.

    Best,

    Scott

  10. Hello,

I just received my Scarlet with titanium Canon mount and Bomb EVF. It's a beautiful camera, but at this point I've decided it's not the best camera for me. It is brand new- just arrived on Friday. Please let me know if you are interested. I prefer cash or bank transfer. If you want to use Paypal you will have to pay the charges.

Just looking to break even. Payed 16,400 so asking 16,400. Buyer pays for shipping method of choice.

Serial number of camera is 290.

    Thanks for looking.

  11. I purchased these lenses on 9/30/11 from AbelCine in New York. They are amazing lenses; two of the best I've ever owned. I was using them on a Panasonic AG-AF100 to shoot TV shows and commercials. The reason I am selling is because I have upgraded to a Scarlet. The lenses have been professionally handled and have no scratches or scuffs or dings on the front or rear elements.. They show typical wear on the locking mechanism where the lens naturally contacts with the camera mount. They come with all original packaging - including warranty cards, original lens caps, hoods and lens pouches. The 14-35 retails for 2300 and the 35-100 retails for 2500 at Abel, B&H, and all the other major photo shops. I'm asking several hundred less and I money-back guarantee the lenses are in perfect working order and exactly as described. I also have a Panasonic DMW-MA1 4/3 to micro 4/3 adaptor available if you are interested.
