  1. I thought I'd share this bit of fun I had experimenting with ice movement, currents, time lapse from moving vessel and my first go at photographing the Aurora (Northern Lights). Wrapped it up into a 7 minute short, hope you find it interesting. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iEiRHMPCT94 Cheers, Richard Sidey www.richardsidey.com

  4. Aeon - A Richard Sidey Film AEON - WATCH IT HERE! Please take some time to view my short film.... SYNOPSIS: The primary objective was to offer new perspectives of time that we experience everyday. Secondary objectives included creating a multi-narrative experimental documentary, revealing elements of design through time manipulation and deriving a personal touch by involving locations around Wellington, New Zealand, that I have come to know over the course of this degree. The eastern perspective is involved to create a cyclical structure, and to create a solid structure to which the film can be composed. The film contains over 50 hours of recorded footage compressed into 12 minutes. NOTES: Shot on Sony TRV950e over 4 months. Solo project. http://digitalmedia.massey.ac.nz/exposure/student.php?id=6
