  1. Hey everyone! Wanted to share my youtube channel with you. It has original videos by me, I've been in the after effects business for the last 4 years, currently working for two sports channels. (game promos mainly.) This is my private works page (not sport related.)- things made out of spare time. http://www.youtube.com/teasider Would love to get comments. (yes, even bad ones. theres always room for improvement. Wink Have a great week! p.s Any how-to questions are welcome!
  2. Hey Rick, thanks for your reply. I thgout that a Tri-X film and 64t film give out diffrent readings... so how can I compare them in the camera? I mean.. thr Tri-X is 200 asa , and the 64t is ... 64 asa.. right? So how exactly would I compare them ? I mean , how would I know the readings are right for either of them ?
  3. Hey everyone, So I got this camera's light meter to work (YAY my first fix ! ) Now I have two types of film at reach. one is the 64T and the other is the 200asa Tri-X film. I was just wondering if anyone know if my camera supports those films and exposes them correctly. My camera is auto exposure only. its a Canon zoom 518/2. Here is a picture of the notches in the film cartidge space :: Thanks in advance !!
  4. Hey everyone. So I have the nikon x8 super zoom camera , everything works perfectly and its in great shape. The only problem is the light meter wont move. I put in new batteries for the light meter (1.35v) , but still nothing. When I use the battery check on top , the little niddle on the light meter (in the viewfinder) jumps to 16 and goes back. (but that happends even without lightmeter batteries inside  ) Anyway, No matter where I point the camera too , it always stays on 2 in the light meter. ofcourse manual works but I need indication and help from the auto light meter. Is there any chance somthing got cut in the wires inside? What do you think I should do ? thanks in advance everyone! -Eran-
  5. Hey Everyone! I just got the Nikon 8x super zoom camera. I dont have the filter key but as older posts said , I should improvise somthing with a palstic card maybe. the problem is when I insert it , nothing happens. I just hear a minimal click (like I touched a piece of metal.) and thats it. Im going to use Tri-X b&w film which is 200asa. any settings I should use the cam with ? Also , is the auto light meter really "auto" ? can I just put it on auto and start shooting , or is the light meter only plays an indicator part? (see what it offers and then set it manually..). and last question (but just as important), I take the camera , zoom all the way , use the split focus helper to make vertical lines be stright (focus), but throuth the viewfinder I still see a blurred image..! Even the numbers at the upper of the viewfinder (exposures) are blurred .. anyone have any idea why is this happening? Also If I zoom all the way and use infinity distance on the focus ring , I see objects that are close (2-4 meter) pretty sharp. Thanks in advance to all repliers\helpers!! -Eran-
