  1. It looks like it is a practical with a filter on the camera to me but what filter I do not know? Looking for input on how to get a practical in the shot to give off a glow haze look. Any ideas?
  2. I have been testing a lot of s16 with a canon 8-64 zoom but I have had this trouble with primes as well. Is there a standard in ft from talent for certain shots like establishing shots, MS, CU that I can look at or find out? My distances seem to be a little off. Like my establishing shot seems too far, MS seems just a little too far as well. So if I knew some lengths that are used for these shots pretty often with success I could build on it, my eye seems off just enough to make my shots look like something is wrong. Any thoughts?
  3. I bought this lens from Ken at Whitehouse about 8 months ago for a shoot and don't use it much now. It is very fast and does pretty good in low light. Visuals from my 8mm Optar Illumina intercut pretty good with footage from this lens. Solid prime for 16mm or S16mm. I paid 1100.00 for it new, woud let it go for 900.00 OBO Kristian 206.403.0655
  4. I purchased this lens about 6months ago from Ken at whitehouse AV for 1200 bucks, the visuals held up nicely next to the optar set that was used on the shoot as well. Covers 16mm, super16mm, it is T1.25 so it is fast, with a bayonet mount. Front and rear caps. No scratches, no nicks anywhere. looking to get rid of quick, I need the funds for post on the project I shot. There is a link below of the the exact lens I purchased, It is mint, used on one shoot. price- 600.00 NEG Kristian 210.589.8238 http://www.whitehouseaudiovisual.com/Ultra...Prime_25mm.html
  5. Would you be willing to sell me one of the 400ft magazines? I have an eclair ACL and need a 400ft french magazine very bad. Kristian
  6. I am shooting a short film that is a western/pioneer story. I came from the location yesterday in the High Desert of Oregon where I took raw stills of interiors. A large window is in every room and it was really bright enough that I've decided to shoot vision 2 250D for day interiors as well as exteriors. The script does have night interiors and oil lamps and candles is all they would have used. Any advice or help on how to artificially light for this?? Also advice for shooting Exteriors in dry, flat, vast tumbleweedy terrain? The rooms are ok size but will be wide angle for sure. specs: Arri sr2 super 16 vision 200T or ? Optar Illumina glass Kristian
  7. Hey kevin, Is it possible to a get a pic sent to kristianmckay@gmail.com I am very interested, I'm trying to get into shooting super 16 without going totally broke. This rig sounds right around my price. Is she quiet enough for sync? I'm sure, but thought I would ask. Any visuals shot with, or pics of cam would be great.
