  1. Sure if by "not much" you mean 30%+ more from the Beaulieu's price. I have held on to it for a reason and it has not been on sale until this March. I'm not sure what you mean by a lot more accessories either. The only thing additional to the current package was a Pelican case and I have cut the price accordingly. Crystal sync mod alone is over $600 for the Beaulieu and I'm just trying to get a fair price for it. If you're dissatisfied with my pricing, then don't buy it but please don't present inaccurate information as facts.
  2. I'm mostly active on DVXuser (as "rahn") but someone pointed me here and I thought this may be of more interest here. I currently have it on eBay but feel free to inquire about it directly to me at gmail "stufforahn". Thanks! http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...#ht_1964wt_1167
  3. I have a gorgeous Beaulieu 4008 ZM II with Schneider Optivaron 6-66mm in great condition- overhauled by Bjorn Andersson of Sweden (for $500: The image prism was replaced, the mechanics were lubed and cleaned, the built-in daylight/UV filter was replaced, the film speed was adjusted, the electronics and exposure were recalibrated, the viewfinder eyecup was replaced and more.). It comes with: the metal sunshade and lens caps, nicd battery pack with charger, the original leather case with shoulder strap, Pelican case, a copy of the manual, and processing-prepaid cartridges from PAC LAB, NY (an assortment of reversal, negative, color, and black and white- 6 of them I believe). The total price is $1250. I would prefer not to lose money on it since it is exactly in the condition that I got it (with extra stuff). I got it 3 months ago from the guy who runs retrothing.com and have never used it since. I just bought a bunch of film cartridges, put them in the refrigerator, fitted the Schneider with a protective filter, bought a new Pelican case for it, put everything in there, and have left it alone since. In such an excellent condition, it deserves a better home and an owner who will use it. I would prefer to deal locally with cash or bank check. -----> http://www.retrothing.com/2007/12/super-8-camera.html Yes.. that is the exact camera.. and yes, that was the ebay auction. :D
  4. Hi everyone, I'm looking for a Canon 814 XL-S super8 camera for immediate purchase through escrow.com. Does anyone have an offer for one? Thanks a lot, Rahn Kim
