Hello from Spain... I'm trying to write, direct and edit a series to be watched via internet, and I have uploaded some pieces of it. Shot with Panasonic gs500, faith, nearly no money and lots of love!! I hope your criticism!!

Well, I'm shooting what is supposed to be a series via internet. We are a group of friends, but we love this. The camera used is Panasonic gs500, and I write, direct and edit al the material. Hello everybody and happy new year! Well, I was asking myself, after reading and reading explanations about theory of lighting... if there is a web, book, etc, where you can see still frames from movies and the lighting map they used to light that frame. I think it would be easier to learn that way!

Yes Andrew, as David well says, the spanish word for both "tripod" and "light stand" is "tripode". There came the misunderstanding from!!

Hello everybody! I am new here an I am impressed with the quality and good ambience of this forum. I have learned more reading you here than in months... Well, I am an amateur filmmaker and finally have been able to acquire a starter lighting rig, although I have made a great inversion for me. Here it is: 2 ARRI fresnels (650) 1 ARRI fresnel (300) 2 Cosmolights open-faced (1x1000 and 1x800) 1 chimera 3x3 ft. 5 tripods. Gels. and accesories what do you think? I'm anxious to put into practice all my knowledge (from books and forums like this). Is it a versatile thing to little locations and so on?
