The samples Nikon provides: http://imaging.nikon.com/products/imaging/...en/d-movie/#c-4 I find the appearance pleasing, and for my purposes may serve well to film my projections. I've seen other DSLR's that can capture video at a high frame rate, but never thought of using one digitize. Hope I can develop a good workflow.

The Nikon D90 DSLR is capable of high definition video at 24fps. I am wondering if anyone has attempted to use this mode to convert their s8 or 16mm projections to digital. Any insight? Thanks

I am building a pilot tone generator for use with an Eclair ACL and a Marantz PMD201 cassette recorder. Similar to this device. My goal is to have the generator place the pulse on one track (for sync) and record the sound for the production on the other track. I've found a basic schematic online, and will discuss some details with my electrician. It is necessary to have an input from the camera into the generator, for use as a double system. As well, I am wondering if the generator can be used without plugging it into the camera, using the pulse as help with wild sync. I need to find out the kind of hardware I would need to match the socket on the ACL. Does anyone know what sort of circuitry I would need to pair with the ACL? I'm trying the same process (Tri-X and Plus-X S8 developed in Microdol-X 1:3 for negatives) and I'm wondering if anyone has a time/temperature suggestion or a way to get the Anti-Halation layer off. Thanks a lot. -R

Hi, I have a Sekonic reflected light meter I'd like to use with my Beaulieu 5008s. To transition from still photography is different and I need to use the meter in a different way. There is a Cine that iI assume is used for filming. THANKS!
