Please excuse my English grammar. I?m a colorist working with an ARRISCAN (wich scans at 24 fps) and a DA VINCI Resolve (where I can choose 24 or 23,98 fps with 3:2 pulldown). The question is ¿what do I have to do? ¿wich speed do I have to set up in the Da Vinci to be sure that speed and time code are ok for video recording NTSC 29.97 fps?
As far as I can remember, in the standards telecine Spirit and Ursa Diamond that I use to work, the speeds were 23.97 or 29.97 for video recording.
I?d like to know how the posproduction companies are being configurated right now the equipment if you have a scan+DaVinci.
