Thanks Bobby, I'll look into that. On other postings (I should've searched that before) people mentioned shooting flares against a background and then composite them in, which was a bit more complicated than I thought. Also as you mentioned, these flares are prone to happen in anamorphic lenses because of their physics. Thanks again, I'll look into that filter! -Felipe

I'm trying to get lighting elements to "streak" horizontally, as opposed to using star filters with multiple rays. Are there any other star or similar filters that can create this look? Thanks! Felipe
