  1. I am in the middle of applying for a reading course on the topic of Pornography, and I am required to put together my own set of readings. If you guys have taken an ethics or Woman's Studies course, you know that the topic of porn is largely studied from an ethical or political point of view (it is impossible, at my school, to find it studied under any other lens). I thought that since, however, the cinematographer of a pornographic picture has already supplied us with a "lens", it makes sense for us to study pornography largely through this perspective, and leave the moral argument of whether it is simply right or wrong to others. It is difficult to get books about porn that are written from such a view, that actually take into account cinematography, and cinematographical fads, in porn. If anyone simply knows of an article or a book that analyzes pornography from its cinemtatography, or a book that deals with cinematography on an extremely general level that can be inclusive of porn in a revealing way, please let me know. Thanks for any help you guys can afford me, Steve
