  1. Jonny Boy, The whip pan description is more of a description of the look of the effect rather than the look itself, and the look I am going for is really a combination of both the whip pan and the through the effect in your video (nice style btw). Here's a closer example from a not too recent or good Weezer video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ba_NNKyUwEE Definitely digital, but like I said originally, I got no clue! Help please! -Chris Dandridge
  2. Hi, For an upcoming project I am interested in trying to create what could be best described as a digital whip pan. Example. A long jib follows a character to the front door of a two bedroom house. Jib upstairs to a window and come into the window. At this point, the digital transition would sort of zoom and blur in, and from there to a shot following someone inside. I wouldn't be surprised if there's some sort of effect that does exactly this, but am unaware personally. So I appreciate any input. As I mentioned, this effect is done to great use as a transitory element for shots on the TV show 'Las Vegas.' I tried to find some videos online, but have had no luck. If my point isn't coming across clear I could upload some clips. Thanks a lot! -Chris Dandridge Relentless Films
