  1. Hi, This sounds like a silly question I'm sure but it's been years since I worked in production and I'm just getting back into it so there might be more to come. I captured a few extremely large DV files from our raw footage and want to chop them up into smaller files for better organization (i.e. scene or category) I can do this in premiere but it's cumbersome, it crashes, and is slower than I would think it could be done. Is there a program tailored to this? I literally need to just load the file, set my markers, and print to a new file. I'll then bring those into Premiere and After Effects. Again I know this is simple but I can't remember how I did it back in the day. Thanks!
