Hey this camera is for sale, pretty much brand new at my local camera shop. They want $275 for it does that seem about right? I saw one going for $229 on a German website (sketchy to me). Whats everyones opinion on this. I think its a great looking camera as well as a good performing camera. Anyone have any negative opinions on this camera from person experience or word of mouth.

Ive been looking at the XH-A1, Sony FX1, a little bit over my budget but the HVX200A any other suggestions for the array of filming ill be persuing. (Something that will last me over the years and give me the best bang for my buck)

I want to start shooting wildlife, action sports and eventually underwater life. What pro camera would be the best for a budget of $3000. If im spending this much would it be better to go with HD or mini DV.
