I'm a big fan of Anton Corbijn and I'm particularly fond of the many videos he's directed for Depeche Mode. The few that stuck out to me were Behind The Wheel, Personal Jesus & Enjoy The Silence. All three caught my attention with the interesting camerawork, tremendously grainy stock and in the case of the later two, strong colors.
I don't know much of anything regarding the production of these videos other then a comment that members of Depeche mode made saying they loved working on Anton's videos because he had a really small crew sometimes of just a few people. If anyone knows whether Anton operated the camera himself, I would love to know that as well.
I'm interested in what you guys think were used for these videos, such as the film stock, possible cameras, lenses & maybe film processing tricks, etc...
