I'm shooting a scene in a black box theater with the camera facing members of the audience (I'm using a Canon A1). The theater is for stage productions, not a cinema. Does anyone have lighting suggestions on making it appear as if a movie is playing (particular lighting that appears on the audience)? Thanks, Mark

I'm shooting a promo video for a belly dancer on a Canon A1 on HD (probably on 24p). She's going to be dancing in front of a 12 foot backdrop. Any suggestions on flattering lighting scenarios for dancers? I was planning on keeping it soft, but any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks, Mark
