To the 35mm experts:
I am a collector of cine cameras, mainly 16mm. My wife says I am crazy...so be it. I bought an old Eyemo. It is of the single lens variety with the governor in the head with two speeds, namely 16 and 24 fps. The odd thing is a large lever above the shutter shaft on the head. I finally freed up the shutter with a little TLC. One push of the lever gives one exposure. However, the normal release has no effect at all. I removed the camera head and there is no traditional stop pawl for the shutter. The lever is connected to a one-shot pawl and appears to be factory installed. Have any of you seen such an Eyemo? It appears to be either a manual time lapse camera or possibly a 35mm movie camera made to make a series of individual negatives. I keep thinking of a school camera for shooting class members, but this would be a nightmare to keep track of the students and the negatives.
