  1. I key gripping a project in a month that's shooting in a small restaurant/ jazz club. The DP wants to have basically everything possible hung from above. The bar has large wooden support beams running across the ceiling. I was planning on using speed c-clamps to attach the speed rail to the support beams with a small piece of wood in between the c-clamp and the beam as to not damage the location. The restaurant is going to be open during the days we are shooting so we shoot when they are closed so our days will look like 3 am call - 3 pm. My main question is I want to keep the grip built and hanging for the duration of the shoot because it will end up being a lot to have to take down and build every night and take up valuable time. Would you feel comfortable leaving it hanging while the place is conducting normal business? (The owner doesn't mind us leaving things up) Any extra safety precautions you would take?
