I'm probably wrong with this - but i thought all sd was interlaced. We shot on mini dv tapes.

Hello good people. About 8 years ago I wrote and directed a feature on sd - shot on mini dv tapes. I've only recenlty got the money to complete the film. So it's done now. I've been reading about up-resing SD to HD. But it's got me scratching my head a bit. I'm trying to improve the look of the film. It's been color-corrected in final cut - really on limited funds. But is upresing something that would help my film? Appreciate any words of advice.
