  1. My name is Christine A. Maier and I´m preparing a feature film in Berlin on HD. It is my first eperience with this format and I have some questions concerning the right lenses. The film will be mostly handheld, so I´m looking for a lightweight, sharp, zoom with a good open T-stop (available light situation) with no or very less colour aberation , less breathing and a short minimal focus. I talked with an expert from Canon who recommended the new Canon Zooms HJ 17x 7,6 , the HJ 22x7,6 both with a T-stop of 1:1.8 and the HJ11x4,7 Iwant to choose the normal HD Zoom instead of the cinestyle zoom, because I had a better feeling with them hendheld and they are a little bit lighter. Canon said that the cinestyle and the normal HD Zooms are the same, there is in the construction no difference. I will shoot the film with the Sony HDW 750PC. The endproduct will be a 35mm filmout, we will test the ARRI Laser and a Celco. Does anyone of you know these Zooms or can recommend other ones for this kind of film. The director wants to be flexible and fast, so I wanted a Zoom instead of Primes. Thank you
